Ministries

Places to belong, serve and grow — for young people, for men, for women, and for the neighborhood around us.

Ministry happening outdoors at Unity Temple

Youth Department

We’re about radical outreach

Our Youth Ministry is not just another group of young people at some church.

Who said being a young Christian is boring? We fellowship, have fun and worship God together. We use every method possible to reach people: singing, rap, poetry, art, film, video games, social media and much more.

Many times, people are involved in the use of alcohol, drugs, sex and other things because they don’t have a relationship with God. People were not created to be alone in the world. We were designed to fellowship with God and live a life of peace and joy.

Being a part of this fellowship might just be the best thing that could ever happen to you. Worship Unplugged — join us.

The Man Cave

Men of all ages are welcome

Not only is it true in general that having friends is one of the most rewarding gifts in life, but the Bible lets us know that fellowship is necessary and desired. Psalm 133:1 tells us how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell in Unity.

The Man Cave is an opportunity for us to dwell in Unity. Come every second Saturday for a free breakfast and fellowship. Jesus is the Lord and men of all ages are welcome.

Women’s Book Club

Third Sunday, right after worship

The women of Unity Temple meet on the third Sunday of each month, immediately following Morning Worship service, to read together and talk honestly about what they are learning.

New faces are always welcome — you do not have to have finished the book, and you do not have to have been here for twenty years.

Tutoring young people

Helping students reach their educational goals.

Temporary shelter

Shelter for people in our community with nowhere to go.

Serve with us

Can you help?

Every one of these ministries runs on volunteers. If you can cook, drive, teach, greet, set up chairs or sit with someone who is hurting, there is a place for you.

Ministries are easier to join than to read about. Come on Sunday and we will introduce you.
